What participants are said about the 2011 event:

"The Badger girls really enjoy this event and being able to see so many faces in such a comfortable atmosphere.  Thanks again for all of your hard work to make this day such a success!" ~ HEIDI KRAEMER, Badger Inventory Service;

"What a great event yesterday. I was amazed at how friendly everyone was. Your spot choice for us was very considerate, appropriate AND productive." ~ROD OFTE, WI Grassfed Beef Coop.;

"Thank You and your staff (all of them) for an outstanding WGA Golf Event again.  I know the hard work it takes to put this event on and the endless hours preparing for making it such a great event.  You and your staff never cease to amaze me and the rest of the WGA supporters in making the WGA event a success.  It is a privilege to be a part of the WGA." ~STORM WALSVIC, Supervalu;

"Great outing, Brandon! All WGA folks did a fantastic job of organizing everything." ~TOM VEITH, Crystal Farms;

and especially "Great job by Dave, Cheryl, WGA Staff and Interns, and all the Sponsors and Volunteers!  We did it, but it wouldn't have been possible without each and everyone of you!  All who attended know it was a Great Day, Great Weather, Great Golf, Great Fun and   Great Fellowship.  It was topped off by the news that we were victorious in the Debit Swipe Reform Battle.  Thanks to all who wrote letters and made calls.  If you didn't attend - LOOK AT ALL YOU MISSED!  The next big gathering of Wisconsin Grocers is the Innovation Expo this Fall.  Plan to attend and watch for Registration Details!" ~ WGA Chairman, BRAD BROOKS, Affiliated Foods Midwest.;

"The Wisconsin Grocers Golf Outing is a great way to network with other people in the industry. We look forward to not only participating in the event, but also to help sponsor the event.  If you have not participated in the WGA Outing in the past, mark your calendar for 2012.  You won't be disappointed. " ~LARRY SYRING, Nash Finch Company.

See 2011 photos of the WGA Grocery Industry Golf Outing on the WGA Facebook page.

The temperature at year's WGA's Grocery Industry Golf Outing reached into the 90s, but it was the 180 golfers that heated up the course and multiple sponsored activities and challenges that made it sizzle.
